"I was surprised to find that a new restaurant has recently entered the fray"

New Start is not new. It has been there for at least three years.

Like other Seventh Day Adventist restaurants, it is closed on Saturdays and on Friday nights. I'm not sure if it is open for lunch on Fridays.

Here are some links with information about vegan restaurants in Seoul:

Aha! Thank you Kenneth. I didn't know they were Seventh Day Adventist.

And I never saw their sign until recently, must have missed it…

    Interesting, Kenneth.

Is there a specific website dedicated only to vegan dining in Seoul?

    Thanks,

A website dedicated only to vegan dining in Seoul in English or Korean?

I really like Alien's Day Out.

If you know Korean, there is tons of information on Hanulvut. Even if you don't know Korean, it's worth looking around in the restaurant section to look at the wonderful pictures from vegan/vegetarian/veggie friendly restaurants.

Would it look weird if I went to eat there alone? I’m a Canadian moving to Seoul for school and have a week to kill before I move into the dorms there; this looks like an awesome place to eat!
