A Day at the Filipino Market

Thanks to the comment section, I’ve found International Underground, a web site and group that helps give voices in Korea that are usually kept silent. They’re really featuring the Filipino community, particularly the market. There’s a video by Anna Waigand called “A Day at the Market.” It’s a montage of photographs and real sounds of the markets with text explanations of the pictures and the importance of the market.

Give it a look. It’ll make you a little hungry (well, maybe the balut won’t, but the rest will).
