I just found out that in around ten days Korea will be in talks on a free trade agreement with the European Union. I don’t know many details about this one other than it looks to be less contentious than the U.S. free trade agreement. I particularly like this quote:
“Competition between the two parties over previous sticking points like rice markets is unlikely,” Petrov told AP-Foodtechnology.com. “Korea is also growing a taste for Europe’s wine and alcoholic products as well as raw ingredients and additives for food production.”
