Non-Korea-related, I know…
One of my original blog buddies, whom I met through maryeats, is getting more and more famous all the time. Maryam Montegue of My Marrakesh has been having magazines and documentary crews snag her for interviews and features since she and her family moved to Morocco to start an olive farm and build this wonderful guesthouse (her husband’s a talented architect). The guesthouse has been coming along well. It’s fun watching all this from the beginning.
Now she’s part of a series for Budget Travel magazine, along with people like Chocolate & Zucchini’s Clotilde.
Her blog is one of the few non-Korea/non-food blogs that I read. Through her, I have become enthralled with Moroccan art, design and fashion.
