Again, Is Korean Cuisine Catching On?

This is a delectable article from The Toronto Star talking about Korean food being the next big Asian trend in North America. The descriptions of the food make me hungry. I know the names of some of the chains, Nolboo and Won Halmoni. I didn’t know Nolboo did a duck in clay. Gotta check that out some time.

It’s also amusing that the writer spells gochujang ê³ ì¶”ìž¥ as “gachojang.” (Kinda sounds Mexican.)

The footer of the article does mention that the writer’s trip to Seoul was sponsored by the Korea National Tourism Organization. Oh, well.
