Review Summary:
2nd (pronounced "two-N-D") is the poster child for everything that's wrong with "fusion" food in Korea. All the dishes claim to be from different parts of the world but are really gussied up versions of Korean fare with squiggles of various bottle gunky sauces. The interior is cool, with an Arabian mystique. Drapery flow through the place like an '80s power ballad video. Yet nothing there that I, my companions and others I talked to at the restaurant was worth eating again. It's pure pretension and foppery to impress a naive youthful crowd that doesn't know or care what the real dish tastes like. The "Turkish" dish was just galbi with squiggles of honey mustard, tater tots and a corn salad that was more mayonnaise than corn The "paella" was rice cooker rice with some shellfish and a gunky sauce which looked like it had been pre-digested. Avoid this place whenever possible.
