On overnight trips we stayed in love motels. Now I’m a big advocate for love motels (oh, boutique motels). But I found on these trips that they vary widely. You don’t know what kind of quality you’ll get when you’re in the lobby. You won’t even know what kind of quality it is until you investigate the room thoroughly. This one was okay at first. It had a blacklight. I turned it on, and it looked like a CSI crime scene. I didn’t want to know what fluids were splattered on the walls.
