Went out with Eun Jeong and her co-workers last night on a rare late night drinking tour. We met some of their friends at a Japanese themed bar called Wara Wara. I had not had anything for dinner beyond some french fries at the previous bar, so I took a gander at the menu.

I should remember to not order from a menu while drunk unless I’m at a Waffle House.

This is what came out.

Frozen slices of smoked salmon with flying fish roe eggs and dried seaweed. And to dip it in? Your eyes aren’t fooling you. It’s wasabi peanut butter.

Now, I’m all for trying new non-intuitive flavor combinations, so I had some of the salmon with the fish eggs smeared with peanut butter and wasabi.

I have had puke that has tasted better.
