“Smooth & light premium beer exclusively designed for well-being of young generation.”Actually, it’s Hite Exfeel-S. Far from being a perfect palindrome. Irresistible, nonetheless.

I finally found these bottles of this “stylish beer with fiber” on sale this week. I had a couple with dinner that night. The taste wasn’t as bad as I expected. Much better than Cass Light and those carb free beers I had the misfortune to try in the States. It has a slight hoppy, smoky taste with a clean finish. I’ve heard people compare it to a watered down Cass. Maybe my beer palate has gone soft in my years in Korea. I learned to like beer when I was nineteen and living in Germany, and I have some experience working at a brewpub. I am far from being an expert, but I do know a thing or two and have tasted what connoisseurs consider the best of the best (even though I still can’t get my taste buds around Sam Adams Triple Bock).

So, how’s the “well-being” side of it?

I’m experimenting. I’m drinking it for a week and seeing how the results are. So far–hmm, well, I did lose 500 grams in one daily, um, thinking break. I’m not sure if it was the beer or the Super Salad I had for dinner the previous evening.

I wonder what would happen if I put it in my high fiber cereal…
