Review Summary:

Bärlin has been around a while. Taking over the courtyard of the Somerset Palace, it strives to have an upscale German beer hall atmosphere, which really only works when a place is packed. When empty, it's a little dreary. But let's talk about the positives. The schnitzels and spaetzle are just like you'd find in Germany, and the mushroom sauce covers them like a warm blanket. The beer is solidly Teutonic, and they pull the taps well. The sausages, though, come with yellow mustard and are way overpriced (NOTE: German mustard available on request).
